This course will provide an update on the latest employment law seen through our courts over the last 12 months. Mr. Krizner will speak about the updates specifically in regards to FMLA, Medical Marijuana, Hiring and Terminations, ACA and ADA.
William T. Krizner is the Owner and Operating Partner of The Krizner Group, a full service law firm that concentrates its practice in assisting organizations both before and after disputes arise. The Firm’s preventative services division aids clients in implementing policies and procedures that will help avoid costly lawsuits and other organizational problems before they occur. Mr. Krizner’s background includes extensive experience in client counseling, employment law litigation, and governmental investigations. He founded The Krizner Group after working for the national employment firm of Fisher & Phillips, LLP and then leading the employment law division for Collins & Truett.
Mr. Krizner has published dozens of articles relating to various employment law topics; including hiring, proper termination procedures, employee monitoring, and the dangers imposed by the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. Mr. Krizner also regularly provides speaking engagements for state and national associations on varying employment law topics. He personally represents more than a thousand clients mainly in Florida, California, South Carolina, Maryland, Georgia and Pennsylvania, including organizations from nearly every major industry and many of the largest organizations in the Tallahassee area. The Firm's clients employ more than two hundred thousand employees.
Mr. Krizner is admitted to the Florida Bar, the United States District Court in the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts.
