Eddi Abdulhaqq, Program Analyst
EEOC


Eddie (Eddi) Mary Daniel Abdulhaqq is the Outreach and Education Coordinator for the Birmingham District of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and is responsible for the district’s outreach, education, training, and technical assistance program for Alabama, Mississippi (except 17 northern counties), and the Florida Panhandle. Eddi has served the agency in both supervisory and non-supervisory positions since 1984.  Prior to assuming her present position, Eddi was an enforcement supervisor/systemic investigation coordinator.

Eddi received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College of Columbia University and Master of Professional Studies Degree from New York Theological Seminary.  Eddi has completed additional courses and training in anti-harassment, civility and the respectful workplace, advanced investigative skills, systemic investigations, class case development and litigation, federal sector EEO processes and procedures, negotiation and mediation skills, management development, presentation techniques, and other professional and career development courses.  Eddi conducts and customizes training, plans seminars and makes presentations to private employers, state and local government entities, federal agencies, employee/employer groups, professional associations, advocacy groups, and the general public about the EEOC, its mission and the laws it enforces.  Eddi is the recipient of two Chair’s Organizational Performance Awards (the highest honor conferred within the EEOC).

For more than 17 years Jennifer has been dedicated to helping organizations and leaders navigate through change and define and implement their Human Resources strategies. Her extensive experience includes employee recruitment and retention, performance management, dynamic resource deployment, conflict resolution, compensation strategy, HR policy development, training and development, change management and legal compliance.

As an experienced Human Resources professional, Jennifer has worked for and consulted with organizations in the financial, health, and service industries. She earned her Bachelor’s degree focused in Management/HR from Davenport University, possesses the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.

Cory Godwin, Deputy Tax Collector

Cory A. Godwin is currently the Chief Deputy Tax Collector for Bay County, Florida where he provides the daily operational management and strategic direction of the organization and its team members.  Cory also served as Chief Deputy Tax Collector in Walton County for 12 years.

Prior to his joining the Florida Tax Collector industry in 2005, Cory served as the Assistant Warden of Walton Correctional Institution. During his over 17 years of service with the Department of Corrections, which began as a correctional officer, Cory also served as the agencies gang intelligence coordinator, becoming a court certified expert on street and prison gangs. He is a published author and has written many professional articles on the subject of gangs. He has also presented hundreds of presentations at of law enforcement seminars, conferences and community events.

Cory Godwin’s public service was recognized by the Florida Department of Corrections with many accommodations, including Employee of the Year, Inspector of the Year, and Correctional Officer of the Year. Work teams under his supervision have received of two Davis Productivity Awards, and in 2005 the Walton County Tax Collector’s Office was recognized as the Workplace Excellence Award winner by the combined Okaloosa and Walton County Economic Development Councils. In 2014, the Walton County Tax Collector’s Office was recognized as a Florida Governor’s Sterling Award recipient; the highest honor that can be attained for organizational performance and management in Florida.

Cory holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, is a Certified Public Manager through the Florida State University Center for Public Management, and is a Certified Florida Collector Assistant. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.

Denise Hunter & Jeff McLemore
Department of Children & Families


Denise Hunter joined the Florida Department of Children & Families (DCF) in January, 2007 with the responsibility for Leadership Development.  Since January 2007, she has worked throughout the Department to build leadership capability and a consistent community of leadership practice.

Denise brings over 25 years of private sector corporate Training and Development experience to DCF.   Her responsibilities include the design, development and implementation of training and development with special emphasis on Leader Development and customer service.


Jeff McLemore joined the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) in November 1992, and has worked in various administrative offices including Contract Administration, Financial Management, Budget Services, Assistant Secretary for Administration, and Human Resources. 

Jeff brings over 25 years of public sector experience to training facilitation at DCF.  His responsibilities include Human Resources performance measures management, Region Leadership Academies Leadership Development and facilitation, and Human Resources Legislative Affairs.

Quinton Thornton, Service Director

Quinton joined Adecco in February of 2014 as a Regional Operations Manager for South Florida, and in November of 2017 was promoted to Service Director for Florida and Puerto Rico.  Quinton Began his career in Operations roles with organizations like Old Navy, and Kohls, then moved into staffing to align his passion for recruiting with his full-time career.   Quinton has worked as a Sourcer, Executive Recruiter, Staffing Branch Manager, and Director of Staffing for a boutique staffing firm.

Today, he is responsible for the recruiting function for the branch Staffing Segment in Florida, and Puerto Rico. Nineteen staffing branches and 1 Executive Search team make up this great market. Within Florida, Adecco has fourteen offices, In Puerto Rico, he has branch locations in Manati, Caguas, Hato Rey, Ponce, & Catano. His portfolio contains a $95MM book of business with great clients within the region. He is responsible to support 89 colleagues.

WILLIAM "Roy" RICHARDSON began his career as a Federal Investigator with the US Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division enforcing the provisions of the Family and Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, SCA/Davis-Bacon/PCA, Employee Polygraph Protection Act, Consumer Credit Protection Act, Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Protection Act and the H visa guest worker program. His compliance efforts have been recognized with the Task Force Impact Award (2011), Special Congressional Recognition (2015), Secretary of Labor’s Exceptional Achievement Award (2016 & 2017) and the Administrator’s MOU Collaboration Award (2017). Currently, he serves as an Outreach and Planning Specialist, working to provide compliance assistance and educate the public on the requirements of the laws that the Wage and Hour Division administers.
